Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Ltd Reports Strong Half-Yearly Results – Profit Surges Over 65%

Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Limited announced its financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2025. The Board of Directors, in their meeting held on August 27, 2025, at the company’s head office in Karachi, reviewed and approved the accounts.

The pharmaceutical company reported a significant jump in profitability as profit before tax rose to Rs. 6,002 million compared to Rs. 3,017 million in the same period last year, reflecting robust operational performance.

Profit after tax (PAT) for the half year stood at Rs. 3,543 million, marking an increase from Rs. 2,140 million in June 2024. Consequently, the earnings per share (EPS) improved sharply to Rs. 36.19 from Rs. 21.86 a year earlier, showcasing strong returns for shareholders.

The results highlight Abbott Laboratories Pakistan’s continued growth momentum in the healthcare sector, driven by higher demand and operational efficiencies.
