Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Thursday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where development projects exceeding Rs117 billion were approved.

According to the official statement, the endorsed projects include the extension of the Sehat Sahulat Program until July 30, 2026, alongside major initiatives in the energy, infrastructure, and transport sectors aimed at improving service delivery and supporting socio-economic growth.

Dar instructed the relevant ministries to ensure effective planning, smooth execution, and long-term sustainability of the approved schemes.

The meeting was attended by the Finance Minister, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Sindh Minister for Planning, Development & Irrigation, as well as senior officials from the Cabinet, Health, Communications, and Planning divisions.
