Ghani Chem World Begins Production of Calcium Carbide at Hattar SEZ

Ghani Chem World Limited has officially commenced production and sale of Calcium Carbide and related products at its project in the Hattar Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The milestone follows the successful commissioning of the import-substitute project under the supervision of Chinese and European experts.

The company stated that the project, built to modern technological standards, will serve both domestic and export markets, providing key inputs for various industrial processes. This development is seen as a significant step toward strengthening Pakistan’s indigenous industrial base and reducing reliance on imported products.

The disclosure was made in compliance with the Securities Act, 2015, and the rule book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, with instructions to inform all TRE certificate holders accordingly.
