KHAADI From Fashion Icon to Stock Market Opportunity

Pakistan’s leading designer wear brand KHAADI is heading to the capital markets, one of the country’s most recognized fashion and lifestyle brands, prepares to enter the stock market through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Khaadi’s journey reflects the growing evolution of Pakistan’s local consumer and retail sector. Founded in Karachi in 1998, the brand has evolved from a single-store fashion concept into a diversified lifestyle retailer with a presence across Pakistan and international markets including the UAE, UK and US. Today, Khaadi offers a broad portfolio spanning ready-to-wear, fabrics, accessories, footwear, fragrances and home-related products, supported by both physical retail and e-commerce channels.

The proposed listing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) marks an important new chapter for Khaadi, providing access to the capital market while giving investors an opportunity to participate in the company’s future growth.

Khaadi IPO — Issue Size & Offer Structure

Khaadi Pakistan Limited is planning a combined capital-raising transaction of up to PKR 8.3 billion, comprising a pre-IPO placement and a public offering. The reported transaction involves a total of 500 million shares, with 250 million shares allocated to the pre-IPO placement and another 250 million shares planned for the public offering.

Under the reported structure, the pre-IPO placement comprises 250 million shares at an indicative price range of PKR 12.40 to PKR 15.20 per share, potentially raising approximately PKR 3.1 billion to PKR 3.8 billion.

The public IPO is expected to comprise a further 250 million shares, with an indicative price range of PKR 12.40 to PKR 18.00 per share. At these levels, the public offering could raise approximately PKR 3.1 billion to PKR 4.5 billion. Combined, the two components could raise between PKR 6.2 billion and PKR 8.3 billion.

The IPO is expected to be conducted through the book-building mechanism, with book-building reported for November 2026. Investors should, however, rely on the final approved prospectus and official PSX/SECP announcements for the confirmed price, bidding dates, public subscription period and final allocation details. The PSX has confirmed that Khaadi Pakistan Limited’s draft prospectus has been placed on its website for public comments.

Why Is the IPO Significant?

For the Pakistani stock market, Khaadi’s potential listing is notable because it would bring a prominent consumer-facing fashion and lifestyle business into the listed equity universe. The offering could further diversify the sectors and business models represented on the PSX while giving investors exposure to Pakistan’s organized retail and consumer segment.

For investors, the key consideration will be how effectively Khaadi converts its strong brand recognition, retail footprint and expansion strategy into sustainable revenue and earnings growth.
