Master Auto Engineering (MAE), the official partner of Chery vehicles in Pakistan, has celebrated a major global milestone as Chery Group surpassed 20 million cumulative vehicle sales worldwide while becoming the first Chinese automaker to export more than 200,000 vehicles in a single month.

According to the company, Chery sold 276,820 vehicles in July 2026, representing a 23.3% year-on-year increase. Monthly exports reached a record 202,533 vehicles, up 70.1% from a year earlier, setting a new benchmark for China's automotive industry.

The company's new energy vehicle (NEV) segment also recorded strong growth, with 129,067 units sold during the month, reflecting a 97.5% year-on-year increase and another monthly record. During the first seven months of 2026, Chery's cumulative vehicle sales reached 1.63 million units, while exports exceeded 1.14 million vehicles, highlighting the company's accelerating global expansion.

Chery also achieved another milestone by making its debut as an independently listed company in the 2026 Fortune Global 500, securing 383rd position. In addition, the company ranked 30th globally in the Fortune Global 500 Return on Equity (ROE) Top 50 with an ROE of 36.5%, the highest among Chinese companies featured in the ranking.

Further strengthening its international brand presence, Chery ranked 11th overall and No. 1 in the automotive category in the 2026 Kantar BrandZ Chinese Global Brand Builders Top 50, marking its ninth consecutive appearance in the prestigious global ranking.

In Pakistan, Master Auto Engineering, a subsidiary of the Master Group, said these achievements reinforce its commitment to bringing Chery's globally recognised products, advanced technologies and customer-focused approach to the local market. The company continues to expand its footprint through local manufacturing, a growing nationwide dealership and after-sales network, and an expanding portfolio of intelligent and new-energy vehicles.

Beyond automobiles, Chery also continues to expand its technology ecosystem, with cumulative deliveries of its AiMOGA humanoid robot surpassing 2,000 units across more than 60 countries and regions, highlighting the company's growing investment in intelligent mobility and advanced technologies.
