OGDC Unveils New Logo in Corporate Identity Revamp

KARACHI: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC), Pakistan’s largest exploration and production firm, has unveiled a new logo and tagline as part of a corporate identity revamp.

The company disclosed in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that its Board of Directors has formally approved the change, which takes immediate effect across all official platforms.

OGDC clarified that the revamp is limited to its visual identity and does not affect its legal name or core operations in exploration, drilling, and production. The company holds the country’s largest exploration acreage, covering over 40% of awarded blocks.

The move follows similar rebranding exercises in Pakistan’s energy sector. Earlier this year, Mari Petroleum Company Limited became Mari Energies Limited, while Shell Pakistan was renamed Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited after a majority stake acquisition.
