Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company announces Q2FY26 financial results

Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Company Limited has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (2QFY26), reporting a net profit of Rs59.93 million from continuing operations, according to a filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The company recorded net sales and services of Rs1.89 billion, compared to Rs1.59 billion in the same quarter last year. Gross profit stood at Rs242.8 million, reflecting improved project execution and cost control.

Despite higher marketing and administrative expenses, financial income surged to Rs148.6 million, significantly supporting profitability. Operating results showed a loss at the operating level, which was offset by strong net financial income.

Profit before levy and income tax from continuing operations amounted to Rs59.08 million, while profit before tax stood at Rs16.57 million after levy. Following tax adjustments, the company reported a net profit of Rs59.93 million from continuing operations.

Earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations were reported at Rs7.27, compared to Rs38.60 in the same quarter last year. The prior-year figures included income from discontinued operations, which did not recur in the current period.

For comparison, Siemens Pakistan had reported a net profit of Rs1.01 billion in 2QFY25, largely driven by discontinued operations. Excluding those, the current quarter reflects performance solely from continuing businesses.

The results highlight Siemens Pakistan’s stable revenue base and strong financial income, while operational margins remain under pressure amid higher expenses.
