PSX completes July 2026 re-composition of the NBP Pakistan Growth Index with no change in constituent companies.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has completed the re-composition of the NBP Pakistan Growth Index (NBPPGI) as of July 31, 2026, in accordance with the relevant index rules, with no changes made to the index's constituent companies.

According to a notification issued by the Exchange, all 15 constituent companies have retained their positions in the index, while the revised weightings will become effective from Friday, August 7, 2026.

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) remained the largest constituent with a weight of 10.00%, followed by United Bank Limited (UBL) at 9.82% and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) at 9.78%. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBC) were assigned weights of 9.02% and 8.39%, respectively.

The 15 constituent companies and their revised weightings are:

  1. Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) – 10.00%
  2. United Bank Limited (UBL) – 9.82%
  3. Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) – 9.78%
  4. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) – 9.02%
  5. The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBC) – 8.39%
  6. National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) – 8.28%
  7. Meezan Bank Limited (MEBL) – 7.01%
  8. Engro Holdings Limited (ENGROH) – 6.72%
  9. Lucky Cement Limited (LUCK) – 6.52%
  10. Mari Energies Limited (MARI) – 5.86%
  11. Habib Bank Limited (HBL) – 5.23%
  12. Systems Limited (SYS) – 3.70%
  13. MCB Bank Limited (MCB) – 3.59%
  14. Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT) – 3.08%
  15. Bank AL Habib Limited (BAHL) – 3.00%

The NBP Pakistan Growth Index is reviewed periodically in accordance with the PSX Index Rules to ensure that constituent weights remain aligned with the prescribed methodology while reflecting prevailing market conditions.

The revised constituent weightings will come into effect from August 7, 2026, with no additions or deletions to the index following the latest review.
