International Packaging Films Limited plans to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Portugal through its Dubai-based unit.

International Packaging Films Limited has announced plans to establish a wholly owned subsidiary in Portugal through IPAK Connect Packaging Materials Trading FZCO, its Dubai-based wholly owned subsidiary, as part of its strategy to expand its footprint in Europe.

According to a filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange, IPAK Connect has resolved to incorporate the new entity in Portugal, subject to obtaining the required legal, regulatory and corporate approvals.

Once established, the Portuguese company will be fully owned by IPAK Connect, making it an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of International Packaging Films Limited within the IPAK Group.

The company said the new subsidiary will strengthen its commercial presence across Europe by enhancing customer engagement, improving marketing and distribution capabilities, and supporting future business expansion in the region.
