Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited has approved its FY2026-27 annual budget and business plan, alongside plans to establish an egg powder processing plant and expand its grain storage capacity, according to a notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The board approved the installation of an egg powder processing line, which will be co-located with the company's previously approved liquid pasteurised egg plant. Sharing existing infrastructure and utilities is expected to improve operational efficiency while reducing project costs.
The company said the new facility will enable production of higher-margin egg powder products with a longer shelf life. The project is proposed to be financed through bank borrowing, subject to final approval of financing arrangements.
In addition, the board approved the installation of grain storage silos with capacity to store approximately 14,000 tonnes of multiple grain types. The expansion is expected to reduce storage costs, minimize wastage, and improve supply chain efficiency.
The board also reviewed future funding requirements related to the new projects, flock replacement, and working capital, directing management to evaluate financing options and submit detailed proposals for approval at a later stage.
