Crescent Star Technologies (Private) Limited (CST), a member of the Crescent Star Insurance Limited (PSX: CSIL) Group, is entering its next phase of growth as the Group's dedicated technology and digital innovation company.

The company has been established to develop technology solutions for the insurance, financial services, and corporate sectors, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), digital distribution, process automation, data analytics, enterprise software development, and customer-centric digital platforms.

As part of its expansion, Ms. Momina Kamal Cheema has joined Crescent Star Technologies as Head of Operations, effective August 1, 2026, and will be based at the CSIL Group's Islamabad office.

She brings expertise in artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), software engineering, data analytics, and technology project management, and will lead the company's AI and digital transformation initiatives.

CST's initial focus areas include:

Initially, Crescent Star Technologies will work closely with Crescent Star Insurance Limited to strengthen its digital capabilities, enhance customer experience, and automate business processes through technology-driven solutions.

The company plans to gradually expand its technology services to external corporate clients across Pakistan and selected international markets.

According to the company, the establishment of CST reflects the Group's long-term commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence, with the objective of creating sustainable value for customers, shareholders, and the broader financial services industry.
